Adelia Putri Adianingsih is a student who was accepted to intern at the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Service Agency (BPPD) for the internship period from December to February.
Adelia, as she is familiarly known, told FEB News on Monday (12/12) that she had been contacted by the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Service Agency (BPPD) to begin her internship in December after submitting an independent internship application to the BPPD and fulfilling the requirements. She did not waste this internship opportunity. Adelia had indeed intended to intern in her 7th semester while completing her thesis. BPPD Sidoarjo was chosen as the internship location because during the internship period, she would be placed in a service sector that deals directly with Taxpayers dealing with regional taxes.
"By being placed directly in the service section, I gain new experience to be able to help solve problems faced by Taxpayers related to regional taxes," she said.
During her internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, Adelia gained a wide range of experience in dealing with Taxpayer issues. One of them is the problem related to Land and Building Tax which is often faced by Taxpayers. With the help of officers/workers there, Adelia was helped to be able to handle various real problems faced by Taxpayers. So the knowledge gained is not only theoretical. But directly involved in solving the problems faced by Taxpayers.
"Internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, I helped a lot of problems faced by Taxpayers with the help of officers," she continued.
In addition, Adelia also helped check the arrears of PBB and e-SPPT. Then helped Taxpayers complete the requirements and forms if they want to change the name of the PBB through full mutation and split/merge mutation.
"Currently, applications related to the change of name of the PBB are done via WhatsApp. So my task while at BPPD Sidoarjo is to help explain to Taxpayers regarding the requirements and filling out the form for the change of name of the PBB," she explained.
During her internship at BPPD Sidoarjo, she gained a lot of new experiences by interacting directly with Taxpayers. A deep understanding is required to be able to solve problems faced by taxpayers.
"During my internship, I was equipped with an understanding of the problems commonly faced by taxpayers related to regional taxes and how to solve them. Furthermore, the diverse educational backgrounds of the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Agency (BPPD) officers have enabled me to learn a great deal and collaborate. Therefore, I will make the most of the opportunity to intern at the Sidoarjo BPPD," he explained.
