
Debriefing prospective graduates of FEB UNAIR April 2025: Become a graduate ready to work and competitive
(FEB News) Friday, April 25, 2025 - Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) held an activity of debriefing prospective graduates in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall, Floor II FEB Unair, on Friday afternoon (25/4). A total of 400 prospective graduates from various levels of education attended this event as a form of preparation for the graduation procession which will be held by the Rector of Airlangga Unair on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
In his remarks, Dean of UNAIR FEB, Prof. Dian Agustia, SE, M.Si., Ak., Delivering a deep message to prospective graduates. He stressed the importance of maintaining integrity, building professional networks, and continued to carry the good name of the alma mater wherever they were. "Graduation is not the end of the trip, but the beginning of a new struggle to make a real contribution to the nation and society," he said with enthusiasm.
In line with this message, the Coordinator of the Study Program and the Chairperson of the Department in the FEB Unair environment also provided motivation to graduates. They invite prospective graduates to continue to learn, adapt, and do not hesitate in pursuing opportunities, both in the world of work and further education, and for S3 too, do not stop doing research, and do not forget the alma mater.
The presence of Deputy Chairman I IKAFE FEB UNAIR, representing the Chairman of IKAFE, also provided new enthusiasm for graduates. In his remarks, he invited graduates to continue to establish good relations with alma mater and fellow alumni through the forums of Ika Unair and Ikafe Feb. "This nation needs leaders and innovators, not only employees. Be human beings who are able to bring change and maintain the good name of FEB Airlangga University," he said, while exemplifying many successful alumni who now hold a strategic position at the national and international levels.
The debriefing event also presented a motivational and self -development session filled by Afif Kurniawan, M.Psi., Psychologist, with the theme "Career Essentials - Goal Setting and Skill Development" . This material provides prospective graduates with insight into the importance of setting career goals and relevant skills development strategies to deal with the dynamics of a competitive world of work.
With the spirit of togetherness and support from lecturers and alumni, prospective graduates are expected to be able to become graduates who are not only superior academically, but also tough in facing life challenges after campus. This debriefing, through various sessions presented, is an important step in preparing graduates to adapt quickly in the professional world. In addition, it is hoped that they can bring innovation, contribute to the nation's economic development, and establish productive relations with fellow alumni, so that they can continue to develop and have a positive impact wherever they are.
