The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is currently promoting the “Let’s Save Shares” campaign, which makes buying shares an alternative to saving in banks. Amidst this public awareness campaign about shares, students of the Master of Management program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga have made a breakthrough. Shares can be used as a donation option. Especially if the shares are intended for long-term investment activities, then the recipient of the shares can utilize the funds from the distributed dividends. This is at least what was revealed at the “Let’s Donate Shares” seminar, the idea was discussed as interesting material with speakers from both practitioners and academics who are experts in the field of share transactions. Wednesday, November 26, in the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, several speakers such as Dr. Leo Herlambang (a practitioner), Dr. Wisudanto (as a representative of the Social Fund Management Center Universitas Airlangga ), Dewi Sriana SE, MM. (Head of the East Java IDX Representative Office), and Adhe Citra (Head of Area 2 of PT Indo Premier Sekuritas), among others, said that the seminar initiated was an innovative proposal that must be followed up.
On this occasion, students from the 50A MM class began by donating Rp 20 million Universitas Airlangga
Kudos to the students for their innovative ideas.
Blessings be upon you
