(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) in collaboration with the Indonesian Accountants Association, Accountant Educator Compartment (IAI KAPd) East Java Region and also the Association of Indonesian Faculties of Economics and Business (AFEBI), held a Workshop on "Adoption of IT (Information and Technology) in the Curriculum of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program (PSSA)", for the Heads/Heads of Accounting Study Programs, Secretaries of Accounting Study Programs and Accounting Lecturers of the Information Systems Cluster from all over Indonesia (from Aceh to Papua). The event was held from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor of FEB UNAIR, and was attended by around 522 participants, from all over Indonesia, (July 10-11, 2023).
On the first day, present to give the Opening Speech: Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Kadir, M.Si., CIPM., CWM., CRA., CRP. – Chairman of AFEBI (Association of Indonesian Faculty of Economics and Business) and Dean of FEB UNHAS and Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA. – Chairman of IAI KAPd East Java Region/Dean of FEB UNAIR as the host of the workshop. As for the Keynote Speech: Dr. Ardan Adiperdana, Ak., MBA., CFrA., CA., FCMA., CGMA. – Chairman of IAI.
No half measures, in the workshop held on the first day of IAI presented several competent speakers in their fields, including:
1. Prof. Dr. Lindawati Gani, CA., FCMA., CGMA., FCPA – Professor of Management Accounting FEB UI, to discuss the development of the International Education Standard (IES), moderated by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA.
2. Dr. Dyah Setyaningrum, SE., MSM., CPMA., CA – Head of the Dean Office, Strategic Planning, Evaluation, and Monitoring – International Ranking (DOSPEM – IR) FEB UI, to discuss Curriculum Brainstorming based on KKNI and OBE, as well as the Preparation of OBE RPS based on IES, moderated by Dr. Dra. Arum Prastiwi, MSi., Ak., CA.
3. Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Hamzah Ritchi, CA. – Professor in AIS and Digital Innovation, to discuss Digitalization Reflection for Accounting Talent (Curriculum and RPS of Courses in the Information Systems Cluster) and Dr. Muchlis, SE., M.MT – President Director of PT. Media Existama Teknologies Surabaya, to discuss the Use Case of ERP Curriculum in the Accounting Study Program along with Examples of RPS of courses in the IS Cluster, moderated by Luluk Widyawati, SE., M.Bus., Ph., D., Ak., CA.
4. Representing technology users: KAP Deloitte (Rosita Uli Sinaga, SE., Ak., MM., CPA., CA., FCMA., CGMA); DJP (Nuryani, S.Kom., MM); BI (Mutiara Sianipar); Tokopedia (Rudy A. Dalimunthe, SE., Ak., MM., CA), moderated by Dr. Nanny Dewi, SE., Ak., M.Com.
The IAI Chairperson explained that this workshop is highly relevant to the IAI's 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, and that it will significantly contribute to strengthening professional transformation, increasing public trust, and demonstrating how the accounting profession can play a significant role in the advancement of the Indonesian nation, particularly in the economic sector.
Through this workshop, the Chairperson of the IAI KAPd East Java Region and Dean of FEB UNAIR invited all those present to work together to improve the quality of education, continue to carry out Continuous Improvement to become better until finally becoming superior (having the ability to compete globally)
