Meet Sinta, the Outstanding Student Who Won Second Place in the National Scientific Writing Competition

Universitas Airlangga (Unair) has once again achieved a brilliant achievement in the national arena. This time Sinta Fanidatus Solichah succeeded in achieving 2nd place in the National Scientific Writing Competition Industrial Engineering Festival (INTERVAL) organized by the Industrial Engineering Department of Jenderal Achmad Yani University. Sinta Fanidatus Solichah (familiarly called Sinta), is a new student of the Faculty of Economics and Business Management Study Program Class of 2020 from the National Selection for State Universities Entrance (SNMPTN), is also known to be active in participating in Campus Organizations including the FEB UNAIR Student Legislative Body as Deputy Secretary for the 2021 management period and a member of the Reasoning UKM.

What began as a hobby of participating in competitions has fostered Sinta's innate curiosity and critical thinking, leading to the development of innovative, fresh ideas. The online learning method hasn't dampened her enthusiasm; instead, Sinta sees it as an opportunity to gain experience, network, achieve, and more.

Sinta explained that the INTERVAL competition she participated in had the theme "Environmentally Based Business Ideas Amidst the Pandemic." She further explained that she chose the Economics sub-theme in formulating her scientific paper because it was relevant to her major.

"My motivation for achieving is the desire to make my parents happy and proud, and to bring honor to my alma mater," he explained. "Furthermore, I want to gain as much experience as possible during my first semester and further deepen my knowledge of writing.".

Sinta further explained that the Scientific Paper written concerns the importance of creating environmentally friendly business ideas, especially amidst the current pandemic, and is expected to become a profitable business opportunity for the community.

 "A message for friends Universitas Airlangga especially the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, to always be enthusiastic about achieving achievements to bring good name to our beloved alma mater," he concluded.
