Champion 1 of East Java Creative Economy Ambassador 2025

(Feb News) Proud achievements are re -inscribed by students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair). One of his best daughters won 1st place in the prestigious Election of the East Java Creative Economy Ambassador 2025 held at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic in Surabaya, Sunday (11/05/2025).

This annual event was initiated by the East Java Creative Economy Ambassador Association with the aim of capturing the figure of an inspiring young person who had the dedication and capacity to drive the potential of the creative economy in various regions of East Java. From around 150 registrants, as many as 36 finalists were selected through strict selection stages, including administrative selection, written tests, to interviews.

During the quarantine process, the finalists participated in various series of activities, such as visits to the Surabaya BUMN House, Mrs. Rudy's souvenir centers, as well as the presentation of creative economy products from their respective regions. They are also challenged through the Motion Challenge and Speech Advocacy with a one minute duration.

Safrina Putri Indira - FEB UNAIR students who won the first place revealed that their involvement departed from the spirit as a young generation to bridge local creative economic actors with broader market opportunities. "As a management student, I feel this event is very relevant. I want to be part of the solution, combining creativity, digitalization, and collaboration in order to be able to bring innovations that have an impact," he explained.

Carrying an advocacy titled Econova (Economic & Creative Innovation for Local Empowerment), the champion designed a series of digital and educative -based programs. Among these are the Econova feature (UMKM promotional content), Econova Digital Boost (Digital Marketing Training), Econova Visit (visits to local business actors and related agencies), and Econova Workshop (training and talk shows with local business actors, such as Runi's Collection).

The active participation of FEB UNAIR management students in this event not only has an impact on the empowerment of MSMEs in the regions, but also strengthens the faculty's commitment to sustainable programs. Through Econova, students helped realize the sustainability values ​​carried by FEB Unair in supporting the Sustainable Development Objectives (TPB/SDGs), especially in the aspect of education, poverty alleviation, employment creation, and community-based inclusive economic development.

Ending his interview, he conveyed the motto of his struggle during this event: "Awaken potential, spread inspiration." The motto is a reminder of the importance of the role of the younger generation in bringing positive changes to the strengthening of Indonesia's creative economy, especially in East Java.

This victory is not only a personal pride, but also carries the good name of Feb Unair in its work to support students to become agents of change that affect the community.
