Arek Suroboyo, who was born in 1999, succeeded in becoming the 1st Place Winner in the 2020 National Student Competition in the Field of Business, Management and Finance, together with Aisyah P. Rahvy (FKM 2017) through the SEGER WARAS UNAIR team, with close supervision by Supervisor Dr. Tri Siwi Agustina, SE., M.Si.

The competition held by the Ministry of Education and Culture was opened on May 28, 2020, starting a long journey, the UNAIR team also sent a business planning proposal along with 185 delegates from all state and private universities in Indonesia.
Then on September 26, 2020, from 186 registered teams, only 14 teams were selected to enter the semifinals, and then filtered again to the top 5, namely from UGM, Binus-Unpad, UMM, Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, and UNAIR.
At 8 p.m. that same day, the five teams received their study cases, which were then required to be submitted by 5:00 a.m. on September 27, 2020.
From the results of the presentations of the five teams today, Universitas Airlangga won 1st place, followed by Binus-Unpad as 2nd place and then Muhammadiyah University of Malang as 3rd place.
What is so interesting about the Unair Seger Waras team that it was able to make the judges choose it as the best among the 185 other teams that entered?
Seger Waras is a telehealth application designed and developed based on traditional herbal medicine, partnering with traditional healers (battra), massage therapists, acupuncture practitioners, other alternative therapies, and herbal medicine clinics. It targets people aged 15-29 living in large cities with unhealthy lifestyles and diets, such as workaholism, junk food consumption, and high stress levels. These individuals may be exposed to potentially harmful chemical medications over the long term.
The safe and guaranteed solution to health problems is Seger Waras, because our traditional medicine and herbal medicine shops must have certificates based on the Minister of Health Regulation.
