
FEB UNAIR received a benchmarking visit from UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung: Strengthening Collaboration and Academic Governance
SURABAYA, 30 April 2025 - Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) received an academic visit from the Sharia Economic Doctoral Program (PDES) and the Sharia Economy Master of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. This benchmarking activity is an important momentum in strengthening institutional synergy and improving the quality of higher education governance in the field of Islamic economics.
UIN delegation Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung was led directly by Prof. Dr. Agus Eko Sujianto, SE, MM and consists of 12 lecturers and education personnel who have a strategic role in academic and institutional development. This visit is focused on three main aspects, namely education and learning management (curriculum), scientific publication management, and the management of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS).
In an atmosphere full of warmth, the group was welcomed by the leadership of the FEB UNAIR Sharia Economy Department, including Prof. Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Sc. As the Chairperson of the Sharia Economy Department, Siti Zulaikha, SE, M.Si., Ph.D. As the coordinator of the S2 Islamic Economics Study Program, and Dr. Zaenal Fanani, SE, MSA., Ak.
Discussions and experience sharing sessions proceeded productive, discussing various outcome-based education (OBE)-based curriculum implementation strategies, management of scientific journals, to mechanisms and management of institutional cooperation at home and abroad. FEB UNAIR also shares practices both in the governance of study programs, strengthening the publication of lecturers and students, as well as the internationalization strategy of the sharia economic program.
This benchmarking activity is expected to be able to enrich insight and become a strategic reference for UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung in developing the quality standards of education and institutions.
