(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), again received a campus visit from Athirah 2 Islamic High School, Bukit Baruga Makasar, from the Tirtodiningrat Hall, 2nd Floor of FEB UNAIR, (25/10/2022).

The group consisted of 32 students – grade 12, led directly by the Deputy Principal of Curriculum, SMA Islam Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Makasar – Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si, together with 2 accompanying teachers, Mrs Fahira and Ustad Rohlim.

Athirah 2 Islamic High School, which according to Dr Bakry Liwang M.Si was founded by the Hadji Kalla Foundation 12 years ago, in the Bukit Baruga area, has an encouraging cheer, Athirah – Graceful, Superior and Intelligent, with the hope that the students of Athirah 2 Islamic High School Bukit Baruga Makasar, will become students who are graceful, superior and intelligent.

Dr. Bakry Liwang M.Si, asked and emphasized to his students to listen carefully to the material presented during the visit, to ensure that students understand that it is not enough to just have the best secondary education, but in continuing their studies, students also need to choose the best state universities such as FEB UNAIR.

Dr. Bakry Liwang M.Si, said that the purpose of the visit was 1.) To get sufficient explanation about the top study programs, in the best campus; 2.) Future prospects, especially the economy in facing increasingly rapid changes, not only in the field of education but also in the world of work and technology, and how FEB UNAIR is responding to it; and 3.) To know the learning structure at FEB UNAIR, admission paths, curriculum, tricks to graduate quickly, the possibility of being able to enter from the science and social sciences majors.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which the students were enthusiastic and eager to learn. They had listened attentively to the material, and many excellent questions were raised.

Hopefully, this visit can provide benefits and blessings for all of us, especially for the students of SMA Islam Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Makasar and all their dreams will be granted by Allah SWT, joining as part of the Airlangga Knights – together building the nation.
