Asean Manager's visit from Monash University to Feb Unair(FEB NEWS) On February 19, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a courtesy call from Ms. Deasy Sartika, ASEAN Manager from Monash University. This visit aimed to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly regarding the following key aspects: Discussion of the Double Degree Program with the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) FEB UNAIR.

The discussions included exploring a double degree program collaboration between Monash University and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. This collaboration aims to expand academic opportunities for students through international exposure and dual qualifications.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of academic and administrative staff exchanges between the two institutions. This program is expected to strengthen knowledge transfer, professional development, and strengthen institutional ties.

Present at this meeting were several leaders of FEB UNAIR, including:

  • Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi – Vice Dean for Internationalization
    • Dr. Wisnu Wibowo – Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs
    • Martha Primanthi, Ph.D. – Head of the International Office of FEB UNAIR
    • Dr. Devi Kalijati – Coordinator of the IUP FEB UNAIR Study Program
    • Dr. Santi – Secretary of IUP FEB UNAIR

This visit is a strategic step in strengthening academic partnerships and international collaboration between Monash University and FEB UNAIR, while also opening up opportunities for further collaboration in the future.

Following the academic discussion, the agenda continued with an information session held at the Gade Creative Lounge on the 3rd floor of FEB UNAIR. In this session, Ms. Deasy Sartika provided insight into the double degree and student exchange programs for IUP FEB UNAIR students interested in continuing their studies at Monash University. This session provided a valuable opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the available academic pathways and the benefits of studying in an international environment.

The implementation of this program is expected to have a significant positive impact on FEB UNAIR students and academic staff. Through this collaboration, students gain access to broader global education, increase their competitiveness in the international market, and enrich their academic experience through a global perspective.
