(FEB News) Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) successfully held a "Inauguration: Appreciation of Student Achievement 2024" on Friday, December 6, 2024. The event held by the academic, student, and alumni with the Executive Board (BEM) of FEB UNAIR (BEM) aims to appreciate the extraordinary achievements of the students at the national and international level. In his remarks, Dean of UNAIR FEB, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., Ca., expressed his pride to all students who had made the name of FEB Unair.
In 2024, FEB Unair managed to surpass the national achievement target with 256 awards, while at the international level there were 43 achievements. Dr. Wisnu Wibowo, Deputy Dean I FEB Unair, said that this success was inseparable from the intensive assistance program through the Student Achievement Center (P3M) and strengthening internal support such as incentives, conversion of achievement in courses, and the support of the competition budget.
This momentum is increasingly special with the presence of parents of students who also share the pride of the achievements of their children. In the interview session, together with Angga Erlando, SE., M.Ec.Dev., As Chairman of P3M, and also Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec. - Deputy Dean I Staff FEB UNAIR.
As a tangible form of appreciation, FEB Unair gave financial appreciation of Rp.400,000,000 to all outstanding students in 2024. This award is expected to be an additional motivation for students to continue to be excited in carving achievements and carrying the good name of FEB Airlangga University on the national and international arena.
