(FEB NEWS) Surabaya, Monday, October 13, 2025 – Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) have once again achieved a brilliant achievement at the city level. Anak Agung Ayu Myra Rajni Paramesti, a Bachelor of Accounting student from FEB UNAIR, won the title of Vice President of Ning Surabaya 2025 in the 2025 Cak and Ning Surabaya Election.
This event is organized by the Surabaya City Department of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Tourism (Disbudporapar) and is part of the Surabaya Cak & Ning Association program. The prestigious event featured 15 finalist pairs of Cak & Ning Surabaya, who had gone through various rigorous selection stages.
The jury involved in the assessment consists of professional and experienced figures in their fields, namely Dimas Perdana (Cak Surabaya & Raka East Java), Herdina Indrijati (Psychologist), Iman Dwihartanto (Director of KLIK FM Radio Announcer), Juliana Eva (DPRD Surabaya & Ning Surabaya), and Rojil (Lecturer).
The Grand Final of the 2025 Surabaya Cak and Ning Election took place lively on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Surabaya Heroes Monument, which witnessed the birth of the young tourism ambassadors of the City of Heroes.
This event holds significant significance for the city of Surabaya. It not only serves as a venue for selecting tourism ambassadors, but also serves as a platform for developing a young generation with character, broad perspectives, and a concern for the social and cultural environment. Through this activity, participants are trained to understand the values of leadership, communication, ethics, and responsibility as representatives of the Surabaya youth.
Furthermore, this activity plays a crucial role in highlighting Surabaya's potential in tourism, culture, and the creative economy. Cak and Ning have become Surabaya icons, bridging the public, government, and various communities to collaborate in building a positive image for the city.
More than just a competition, this event is a process of character building and strengthening love for one's city. With the presence of Cak and Ning, it is hoped that a generation of young Surabayans will emerge who are not only intelligent and well-groomed, but also possess the ability to inspire, innovate, and make a real contribution to society.

Anak Agung Ayu Myra Rajni Paramesti's participation in this event provided valuable experience in broadening her horizons, honing her communication skills, and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
