Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of FEB UNAIR virtually

(FEB News) Monday, August 9, 2021-The 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (Feb Unair), which was guided by 2 (two) Mc Kondang Ning Siwi and Cak Deni, was colored with laughter, joint excitement, and floods of prizes.

Around 211 (two hundred and eleven) academics attended the event virtually, consisting of elements, the Chancellor Universitas Airlangga and his staff, the Dean of FEB UNAIR, leaders and Professors/Seniors, within FEB UNAIR, lecturers, staff (both those who are still active and those who have retired), alumni, IKA UNAIR representatives, IKAFE Representatives, Dharma Wanita Management and Representatives from Student Organizations, international students, as well as invitees.

The thanksgiving event was marked by virtual tumpeng cutting, led by the Dean of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Dian Aguatia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. together with the Deans of the Previous Period, namely Prof. Sri Maemunah Soeharto, Dr Karyadi Mintaroem MS., Dr. Edy Juwono Slamet, MA., and Prof. Dr. MUSLICH ANSHORI SE., M.Sc., Ak., CA.

In an atmosphere of gratitude, Prof. Dr. Dian Aguatia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. voice to the entire academic community to face and answer all the challenges of change, whether changes due to the pandemic, or changes in information technology (IT), in supporting Indonesia's vision of creating superior human resources, always happy. Moreover, during the current pandemic, levels of stress, anxiety and depression are also very high, but you still have to carry out all your tasks. The pandemic period does not mean that the workload has decreased, in fact it is quite the opposite. For this reason, it is felt that it is increasingly necessary to strengthen each other, collaborate, cooperate/synergize with the heart, in carrying out all the tough challenges that lie ahead, because by synergizing with the heart, whatever tough tasks await in the future will be able to be done.

Launching of a Series of Anniversary Events and Lively FEB UNAIR Citizens' Competition (1st SELOW-FUN) 2021. Also carried out by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia. FEB UNAIR's gratitude for reaching its 6th decade is marked by various activities. Because it was held during the pandemic, FEB Unair carried the theme FEB Cares FEB Shares. One of the main activities of the Anniversary is creating a social movement to raise awareness and share the burden of the pandemic together.

Unair Rector - Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., AK., (FEB UNAIR '85 Alumni), who was also present at the event conveyed in his remarks about "The need to further socialize together, to develop the value that has been developed by Airlangga, especially for students and their alumni and of course to all of us". Great, which means Humble, Excellence, Brave, Agile, and Transcendence. Where the meaning of h = honest, humble, helpful (honesty-lowest and also care), e = excellence means that the trait must be encouraged to all of us, b = brave means as a arek suroboyo, must prioritize the attitude of courage to defend the right, to develop good, and be brave to benefit us, a = agile Those who are not only stand by, of course, Airlangga Unair needs people who are very, very agile who can exist in sharing various places. Finally T = Transcendence, everything that happens, all the endeavors and everything that is done is because of Allah SWT and of course also for Allah SWT. Transcendence must also continue to be encouraged to campus residents in accordance with their respective faith and beliefs. This is what is known as a great Airlangga University, Airlangga University who wants to instill in the residents of the campus is honest, humble, excellence, courage, tenacity and transcendence. So that one Feb is also part of the value that needs to be instilled too. The unity, according to Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., "Not only shows No. 1 (one), but also the most important thing that all as campuses must have one vision, a mission that is more or less the same and in its physical language, all campus residents have the same vector, one same goal, namely all are expected to provide maximum added value, especially for students and our students and contribute significantly to life both locally, nation One vision, one goal, one direction in the same direction in the process of building and or underwent our knowledge in the world of education in FEB UNAIR ". Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., Also congratulating FEB Unair for the various achievements achieved by FEB Unair who are extraordinary to maintain the quality of the existing educational process and even experience significant progress with the many international recognition, international accreditation and or graduates who increasingly get recognition in the professional world.

At the end of his speech, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., also gave a prize in the form of a watch to 1 winner who could guess 1 question given, and the answer to the question was won by Dr. Hamidah SE, M.Si., Ak., even though the answer taken is an answer that is close to the truth.

This flood of gifts is always eagerly awaited by the entire FEB UNAIR academic community at every Anniversary celebration held every year, especially the announcement of the FEB AWARDS and the main prize. At the 60th Anniversary of FEB UNAIR, the main prize in the form of Umrah was won by Hasan – Tendik FEB UNAIR, Alhamdulillah….Pak Hasan. Hopefully the gift to depart as well as a call from ALLAH SWT through FEB UNAIR, can always provide blessings and success for all of us, FEB UNAIR as well as UNAIR.

Apart from prizes, the event was also enlivened with various performances as well as the screening of the video "Remembering the Days" & Encouragement which was extraordinary, entertaining, fascinating, and made those present moved, excited again, missed the campus, missed the atmosphere of togetherness.
