On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the Research & Publication Center of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (3P FEB UNAIR) held a Social Return on Investment (SROI) Workshop attended by undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. The event took place at the Tirtodiningrat Hall.
In the workshop, which ran from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time), participants were encouraged to understand the concept and application of Social Return on Investment (SROI) in the context of social development. This activity aimed to provide a deeper understanding of how to measure and evaluate the social impact of an investment or program.
Mr. Unggul Porwohedi, an expert from Jakarta State University, was invited to speak and be a resource person at the event. He presented on the SROI methodology and shared his experience and knowledge in applying this concept to various social projects and initiatives.
The presence of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in this workshop demonstrated their enthusiasm and seriousness in understanding the concept of social impact evaluation, which is an important key in developing programs that are sustainable and have a positive impact on society.
