YOUTH INNOVATION FORUM (YIF): YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE

The 2022 Youth Innovation Forum (YIF) is organized by Global Youth Action, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), which focuses on empowering Indonesian youth through an international SDGs conference that encourages critical thinking, honing creativity and social sensitivity, and training communication and collaboration, which are essential skills for the younger generation in this increasingly advanced era.
ASEAN needs to accelerate the progress of the 17 points of Sustainable Development Goals. The goals of the United Nation in 2030. Currently, ASEAN needs to pursue the achievement of 17 points of SDGs by 2030. As the younger generation living in the ASEAN region, they have the responsibility and right to contribute in solving existing problems by being responsible for bringing ASEAN, especially Indonesia, to realize the 17 points of SDGs.
The Youth Innovation Forum is a platform for young leaders to share and learn about innovative ideas and implementable activities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as encourage youth to have a positive impact on their surroundings by raising SDG and youth issues. The Youth Innovation Forum (YIF) will be held in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand from December 6 to 11, 2022, and is free. The name of this activity is Youth Innovation Forum (YIF): Youth For The Future.
Youth is an important pillar in the development of a nation, the more qualified the youth, the more open the potential of a nation to become a developed and highly civilized country. It is important to know that the place of learning for youth is not only in school or college but youth can learn anywhere and anytime. Students who participated in the activity were La Erpiadin (042111433001) as a delegate of HIMA EKIS UNAIR. This activity also helped Universitas Airlangga in achieving SDGs point 4, namely quality education, because this activity aims to develop potential and broaden students' horizons both nationally and internationally.
