The Bachelor of Economics program was established in 1961. This program provides economy -oriented education, conducts research and development that focuses on economics (basic research or application), and implement community service to support the implementation and development of economics. Bachelor of Economics will help students to improve the ability to study theories and analytical tools to study various social and economic problems. This program provides graduates with an analysis framework to understand various fields that accommodate various student interests.

  1. Organizing quality education and teaching in the field of economics to produce quality graduates at Bachelor level.
  2. Carrying out research and development of economic science and knowledge, both basic research and applied research.
  3. Providing professional expertise in the economic field as part of community service.

Objective

  1. Increasing global competitiveness in the fields of teaching and research through developing innovation and collaboration with various parties at the national and international levels.
  2. Improving the quality of study program graduates in accordance with the needs of the job market and the characteristics of modern intellectual society (society 5.0).
  3. Improving the implementation of research for policy makers and the public.

Information

Academic provisions

1. The implementation of the
Academic Year lecture consists of two regular semesters, namely the odd semester which takes place in August to December, and the even semester in February to June. Each semester consists of 14 to 16 lecture sessions including evaluation, which is carried out face to face in class and online.

2. Administrative registration
Before filling out courses, students are required to complete a single tuition payment (UKT) in accordance with applicable regulations.

3. Academic registration
of filling courses is carried out through the cybercampus system after the UKT payment, by referring to the Study Results Card (KHS) and following the applicable curriculum provisions. For the Merdeka Learning -Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, KRS filling is carried out through Cybercampus V2. Students can change or cancel the subjects that have been taken by filling in the Card for Changes to the Study Plan (KPRS) a maximum of two weeks after lectures begin, in order to accommodate obstacles or changes in the planned course. Delay in filling KRS for no appropriate reason can cause students not to be allowed to attend lectures in the semester.

4. The burden of studying
the S1 Economics study program has a total of 146 minimum credits that must be taken for graduation.
