On Friday, May 7, 2021, the "National Webinar on Productive Waqf" was held via Zoom, attended by several figures and speakers, namely Mohammad Nuh as Chairman of the Indonesian Waqf Board, KH Ma'ruf Amin as Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Perry Warijiyo as Governor of Bank Indonesia, and Erick Thohir as General Chairman of the Sharia Economic Community, as well as speakers namely Oni Sahroni, Imam Teguh Saptono, Bobby P. Manulang, Murniati Mukhlisin and Raditya Sukmana as Moderator.

The event opened with remarks from Mohammad Nuh, who discussed the new era, or the revival, of National Waqf. He stated that this new era is marked by growing collective awareness across social structures regarding waqf, the use of blockchain technology in waqf management, awareness of managing waqf assets based on good waqf governance, and the diversification of waqf assets, which now no longer have to be land waqf but can be implemented through other instruments.

The next speech was delivered by Pahala Mansury, the Chair of the six MES. He expressed his hope that going forward, we can all increase literacy and contribute to waqf. The third speech was delivered by Perry Warjiyo. He cited the example of development during the time of the Prophet and his companions, which contributed to waqf. Therefore, he invited all participants to implement development using the potential of productive waqf. The final speech was delivered by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma'ruf Amin, who provided direction to all parties to synergize and increase the potential of productive waqf.
