The Financial Markets and Institutions course discusses 1) financial markets, including money markets, bond markets, stock markets, and foreign exchange markets; 2) financial institutions, including commercial banks, other savings and loan institutions, insurance companies, pension funds, securities companies, investment banks, and mutual funds; and 3) the risks faced by financial institutions.
