Philosophy of Science

This course explores various paradigms within the philosophy of science, with a primary focus on their relationship to accounting. Students will examine a range of approaches from functionalist and interpretive to postmodern and their connection to local wisdom. Drawing on various sources including literature, scientific articles, and discussions, students will gain an understanding of the philosophical foundations underlying methodological concepts in conducting accounting research thoughtfully and responsibly.
