Dissertation - Proposal

The Dissertation Proposal Examination course in the Doctoral Program of Islamic Economics is intended to assess students' ability to design their dissertation research. This course covers the process of designing a dissertation research plan (proposal) based on the scientific writing guidelines set out in the FEB UNAIR Dissertation Writing Guidebook. This process includes: (1) determining the topic, research issue and gap, problem formulation, research objectives and scope, and research benefits; (2) literature review consisting of a review of theoretical frameworks and prior studies, resulting in a conceptual framework; (3) development of hypotheses or relationships between research variables; (4) research methods, including the type of research, data and methodology, and relevant analytical methods; and (5) the Islamic Economics dissertation proposal examination
