Overview
This course emphasizes the importance of understanding contemporary phenomena and research issues in information systems and technology and their relationships with other accounting subfields, including auditing, management accounting, financial accounting, the public sector, and taxation. Students learn to make decisions and solve practical problems by applying theories and quantitative and/or qualitative research methods to produce robust research. The course also serves as a consultation forum to support students in conducting research in information systems and technology.
