This course discusses how financial analysts, prospective investors, and investors use financial information presented in financial statements to evaluate a company’s financial condition and valuation as a basis for investment decisions involving securities. Financial analysis is also used to evaluate corporate performance, identify organizational strengths and weaknesses, and support management decisions aimed at increasing firm value.
