Accounting Analytics

This course provides students with knowledge of data analytics in accounting, commonly referred to as accounting analytics. Students learn six stages of accounting analytics: formulating the question to be investigated, preparing data, processing data for analysis, analyzing the data, communicating analytical results, and taking action or making decisions based on those results. Students also learn to use tools such as advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and R.
