Information Systems and Technology Management

This course examines the importance of information systems in creating system integration and innovation, the role of leadership in information systems, and best practices for managing information technology assets. Students are expected to understand information technology components; analyze and develop systems for different types of organizations and companies; understand software implementation capabilities, including enterprise systems, managerial support systems, and e-business systems; and analyze legal, ethical, and social issues related to information systems. The course also guides students in conducting research in information technology management using appropriate research methods.

Accordingly, the course equips students to understand and solve organizational and corporate problems through a systems approach, use information systems ethically and legally to support growth and business competition in dynamic environments, and conduct research in information technology management.
