Management Expo 2018

MEXPO 2018

Management Expo 2018 is an annual activity organized by the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga as a form of business competition for the Department of Management. Expo Management started with a series of events intended for the public with activities covering several fields of competition, namely:

Management Olympiad
Startup Management Challenge (MSC) + Technopreneur
Airlangga University Stock Exchange Competition
Management Photo Competition
Management Dance Competitions
National Business Case Competition

In addition to the six sub-competitions (competitions), there will be a Guest Star as a Closing Party from a series of Expo Management events 2018. The top event for Management Expo 2018 will be held on:

Management Olympiad

Management Olympiad is a national level competition aimed at high school or equivalent students who have an interest in the field of management science. This activity is part of the commemoration of the Anniversary of the Airlangga University Management S1 Study Program. This competition aims to improve skill management, improve knowledge related to management, and hone problem solving high school students or equivalent from an early age.

Startup Management Challenge (MSC)

"Management Startup Challenge" is a national level seminar and competition for high school / vocational students and active undergraduate / D1 students throughout Indonesia with the theme "Empowering Solutions Through Digitalization” as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the Airlangga University Management S1 Study Program. This competition has the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and honing the soft skills of high school students and efforts to help create ecosystem conditions startup. MSC will open registration with a maximum quota of 50 teams for high school and equivalent students and 50 teams for active undergraduate/D1 students from all over Indonesia, provided that one team consists of 3 people.

Airlangga University Stock Exchange Competition

"University of Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition 2018" is a place to apply understanding for students about stock trading. This competition is made similar to the situation in the real capital market so that participants can feel the real atmosphere in the capital market. Mechanism and design of Airlangga University Stock Exchange Competition 2018 This is a competition for students which is divided into 3 rounds, namely: preliminary round, semi-final, and final. In addition, there are also seminars to broaden the knowledge of participants who made it to the semi-finals.

Management Photo Competition

“Management Photo Competition 2018" This is a national level event for Indonesians aged 15 - 25 years from various backgrounds and having an interest in photography as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the S1 Management Study Program, Universitas Airlangga. This competition aims to increase competitiveness and creativity. Indonesian youth towards photography.

ManagementDance Competition (MDC)

Management Dance Competition (MDC) changed its name to "Band Festival Management". The mechanism and design of this “Band Festival Management” is a competition. This competition aims to make the creativity of the participants more developed and qualified.

National Business Case Competition

Mechanism and design of National Business Case Competition This is a case study. Where the case provided by the committee is a case experienced by a company. The case will be available on the MEXPO website (www.managementexpo.com) and completed by all participants. Answers can be sent directly to e-mail Committee. 20 will be selected from the number of registrant teams with the best answers to enter the next stage. Furthermore, in the second stage, 8 teams will be selected who will participate in quarantine activities and participate in the final selection stage. The 3 best teams will win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
