Paper Clinic 2018 - FEB Unair

Time for students to work is the big theme of Paper Clinic 2018. This theme was chosen because we hope that this event can increase the knowledge and confidence of participants in participating in competitions, especially scientific writing competitions. Students are people who are full of critical thoughts, high social spirit, and always echo changes for the better. This spirit became our basis for holding writing training and seminars entitled 'paper clinic 2018'. The target of this event is students who live in East Java by providing a quota of 80 participants.

The event was held for 2 days on 27-28 April 2018 in Soepoyo Hall and Fadjar Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

On the first day a Writing Seminar and Public Speaking Seminar were held, while the second day was filled with Student Talkshows and Paper Making Training. The paper clinic presented Shochrul Rohmatul Ajija, SE., M.Ec. as Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Sakti Haposan Yudhistira as Public Speaker as the speaker of the seminar on the first day. Then for the talk show speaker on the second day, Paper Clinic presented Anida Amirilia Nisa as Finalist for 2017 FEB Unair Ambassador and Oktavia Dewi Rizka Alam as MAWAPRES FEB Unair 2016 and 2017, and Diaz Patria Yunanto as moderator.

The event was held at 9:00 on the first day by bringing in timely speakers and quality materials. Participants were enthusiastic about several tutorials provided by the speaker. The second day of the event was held at 09:15 with the arrival of the speakers on time and material related to the speakers' personal experiences as well as providing motivation for the participants, then the event continued with training on making paper frameworks where the participants were divided into several groups.

Then, participants are required to put it in a presentation slide which will eventually be contested at the end of the event.

With this event, we hope that participants can easily share knowledge and experiences, and gain skills to take part in writing competitions and bring back the critical and caring spirit of students so that they can become outstanding students and are useful for the nation, country, and of course their beloved alma mater..
