A visit to the Ministry of SOEs broke our stigma about rigid and bureaucratic government offices. They welcomed us with great hospitality. At the event which consisted of 4 segments, we had the extraordinary experience of seeing and hearing firsthand the opinions of experts and officials regarding tax rate policies. From those who usually only learn about taxation theoretically in college, we have an extraordinary opportunity to know about it directly from experts. The event hosted by Brigita Manoharaini looked exciting and interesting.

We have been walking for two days, exploring Jakarta and its hustle and bustle. Gain knowledge, expand knowledge, add experience about several companies in Jakarta. On the third day, we visited 2 companies that were no less big. The first is PT Prudential Life Assurance. After breakfast, our group immediately rushed to PT Prudential. There, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Eva, a representative of Pru University. He briefly explained about the organization, organizational structure and career path at PT Prudential. Before walking further, we were treated to a box of snacks to satisfy our hunger.

Then continued by his friend regarding basic knowledge and superior products of PT Prudential. After that, a representative from the finance department, Ms. Linda, briefly explained about the financial system there. Short, interesting and full of new knowledge, that's what we got there. After that, we continued with Friday prayers. After finishing praying for women, we continued our journey to KAP Deloitte which is located at Plaza Indonesia. It was an amazing experience to be given the opportunity to visit there. We were greeted with a warm smile and full of professionalism. Our session, of course, was provided with a box of snacks from KAP Deloitte as our best friend from learning. We met with Mr. Richard, an alumnus of Accounting from Airlangga University who had a successful career at KAP Deloitte, and has even become a partner of KAP Deloitte. We learned a lot of things, starting with KAP Deloitte itself, its advantages, organizational structure, career path, internship path, and tips and tricks for working at KAP Deloitte.

It was late afternoon when we finished visiting from KAP Deloitte. We immediately rushed back to the hotel and were given the opportunity for the participants to do their own activities freely.

We have greeted Jakarta for three days. There are joys and sorrows, hunger and heat don't come often, but happiness and laughter never back away from accompanying us. Different experiences, new knowledge, and an increasingly real enthusiasm for learning have really been obtained. The warmth of the kinship of the participants and the committee, the friendliness of the people in the company, the comfortable shelter, the delicious food that fills the stomach, are what makes this 2018 Company Visit different. Really don't know where else to go to get this experience, unique and interesting.

After arriving on the last day, we immediately packed up all our belongings and rushed back to Surabaya. Bringing knowledge and experience, to be later shared with friends who are always in need. Together we foster a hopeful future through the knowledge we have gained from the 2018 Company Visit.
