FUTURE LEADER SUMMIT 2018
A national youth conference held annually by Nusantaramuda
The Future Leaders Summit is a national youth conference as a
a collaboration platform initiated by Nusantara Muda. FLS aims to prepare
young leaders from across Indonesia in making significant changes to
better Indonesia. In 2018, we took the theme “Preparing for Future Leaders
to be ready to Take Charge of the Way in the Disruption Era", where we want to give a
insight into how a young man faces the challenges of the era we are experiencing today, and
the coming years.
The Future Leader Summit was initiated by an organization called Nusantara Muda. Archipelago
This Muda itself has officially been established as a national youth organization since 2011. Nusantara
Muda focuses on developing leadership of Indonesian youth with their smart ideas
for solving problems in Indonesia.
Entering the era of disruption, the world faces a situation where the movement of the industrial world or
Job competition is no longer linear. The change is very fast, fundamentally by random.random
the pattern of the old order to create a new order
Disruption initiates the birth of a new business model with more innovative and disruptive strategies.
The scope of change is wide ranging from the world of business, banking, transportation, social society,
.to education. This era will require us to change or become extinct
brought the theme “Preparing The Future Leaders 2018 Therefore, Future Leader
Summit for Taking Charge in the Disruption Era.” with the hope that through this year's FLS we can
prepare future leaders with a series of activities and materials that we will
give to hone the soft skills of the participants. With the tagline “Grab The Chance, Take The Charge.”
we invite the youth of future leaders to take every .opportunity
and always try to take part in every action of change in the era of disruption

activities as follows:

Welcome Session
It is a series of opening events for the 2018 Future Leader Summit which contains:
welcoming the youth delegation and explanation of the issues raised and the series of events
Future Leaders Summit 2018.
Idea Lab
It is one of the sessions in a series of FLS 2018 events that will discuss various
current issues related to 6 rooms with the guidance of an expert on the issue. Results
It is a series of opening events for the 2018 Future Leader Summit which contains:
welcoming the youth delegation and explanation of the issues raised and the series of events
Future Leaders Summit 2018.
Idea Lab
It is one of the sessions in a series of FLS 2018 events that will discuss various
current issues related to 6 rooms with the guidance of an expert on the issue. Results
the end of this session is an idea canvas that will be compiled in groups with the aim of
main: Indonesia gold 2045. This ideation lab activity is divided into several rooms or sectors
namely entrepreneur, poverty, digital, education, urban planning, human capital
Future Leaders in Action
As a validation of ideas from the Ideation Lab, this session is a role-play game where
Delegates will have the opportunity to act as government agencies in
completed several case studies to address community problems as well as
a picture in realizing a better Indonesia in 2045.
Future Leaders Gala
A networking night event at the 2018 Future Leader Summit where at this moment
delegates can introduce themselves, share stories, experiences, and to each other
inspire one another. This activity aims to familiarize fellow Delegates
as well as with FLS Alumni and Rangers.

Discovery Panel
The Discovery Panel is a session in the Future Leader Summit where delegates will
learn millennials must-have-skills which will be available in 10 skill options to choose from
by Delegates digitally earlier in the day.
Grand Summit
This is the highlight of the Future Leader Summit by presenting a keynote speaker
inspirational to explain the key points of the main theme of FLS 2018: “Preparing the Future
Leaders to be ready to Take Charge of the Way in the Disruptive Era”
main: Indonesia gold 2045. This ideation lab activity is divided into several rooms or sectors
