2018 Islamic Economics Scientific Festival Universitas Airlangga
The 2018 Sharia Economics Scientific Festival (FALAH) event was organized by
Association of Sharia Economics Studies (ACSES) Faculty of Economics and Business
Universitas Airlangga which lasted for three days, namely the 20th
September to 22 September 2018 filled with a series of Call for Essay events,
Fieldtrip, Grand Da'wah, and Business Workshop. Scientific Festival Event
Sharia Economics (FALAH) 2018 was attended by several university delegates
throughout Indonesia, among others, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, State University
Semarang, Airlangga University, Brawijaya University, University
Hassanuddin, University of Indonesia, Gunadarma University, Jember University,
and the Jakarta State Polytechnic.
On September 20 2018, the Call for Essay activity took place at the Faculty
Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. Call for Essay activities are shared
divided into two parts, a presentation round and a case study round which is only followed by
top five teams. The five teams are Gunadarma University, Universitas Gadjah Mada
Semarang State, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, University of Indonesia and Universities
Airlangga.
On September 21 2018, field trip activities with Bank Indonesia objects,
Surabaya Heroes Monument, and the Sunan Ampel Area of Surabaya. Field trip
followed by all delegation teams from various universities in Indonesia. Thing

On 22 September 2018, Business Workshop activities took place at the Faculty
Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. Business Workshop activities are
general public and including FALAH 2018 participants participated in these activities as well as
discussion with the theme of doing business in sharia. And at the end of the Business event
The Workshop is the Announcement of the Winners of the Sharia Economics Scientific Festival (FALAH)
2018, and the following is the announcement of Gunadarma University – The Best
Presentation, Semarang State University – Best Speaker, Universitas Airlangga
– 3rd place, University of Indonesia – 2nd place, and UIN Sunan Kalijaga – 1st place
Thus closed the 2018 Islamic Economics Scientific Festival (FALAH).
Alhamdulillah, I am Fatoni and Sa'diyah are still trusted by Allah to get it
achievement representing Universitas Airlangga won 3rd place in the Festival
Scientific Economics of Sharia (FALAH) 2018, and hopefully this can spur
passion for writing, especially our brothers and sisters in Islamic economics University
Airlangga. And the last thing has always been our commitment "God is always"
follow the prejudice of His Servant "means always think positive inshaAllah Allah
will grant what His servant wants, InshaAllah amen.
