Be The Best on Temilnas XVII FoSSEI 2018

The Scientific Writing Symposium is a series of activities of the National Scientific Meeting/Temilnas XVII FoSSEI (Forum Silaturrahmi Islamic Economic Studies) in 2018 which took place at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan. The National FoSSEI Team has been held every year since 2001 exactly a year after FoSSEI was formed in 2000, these activities include the Islamic Economics Olympiad; Video Profiles; Business Plan and Scientific Writing Symposium which is a national level event. In 2018, Temilnas raised the theme "Optimizing Socio-Techno Finance for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development". financial technology  in Indonesia which is predicted to be an effective solution in the payment, financing and marketing system for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises which are the backbone of the Indonesian economy.

Scientific Writing Symposium begins with submissions fullpaper on January 6 to February 20 2018, followed by a selection process from February 21 to 27 2018, the selection process resulted in the 33 best teams in 3 sub-themes (11 finalists were selected for each sub-theme). In this case, Universitas Airlangga is represented by 3 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business in 1 team, namelyu  Yuliandi Fikri, ek2015 development autonomy as Team Leader, with 2 membersmaternal Irma Yanti and Happy Wijaya, both from the study program EkDevelopment Economics 2017. Unair Team included in the Second Sub-theme, namely Trade. Presentation, discussion with the jury and continued with a scientific writing symposium held on March 26-28 2018 and ended with the announcement of the winner at the Gala Dinner event on March 28, 2018 which took place at the Ambarkation Hajj Dormitory, Medan, North Sumatra. Praise and gratitude Alhamdulillah, the Unair team received an award as Best Presentation at Commission 2, this was an extraordinary learning and experience when meeting with university friends almost all over Indonesia.
