Abstract

Indonesian universities graduated thousands of graduates every year, most of which become job seekers rather than jobs providers. In addition to providing motivation in entrepreneurship courses, students entrepreneurial motivation need to be supported by providing entrepreneur role models who can encourage entrepreneurship as well as facilitate the learning process. The lecturers who have intention entrepreneurship can be one of solutions. It is therefore important to understand how to motivate lecturers to have intention in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting the intention in entrepreneurship among lecturers in the Vocational Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Factors to include are the need for achievement, self-efficacy, and instrumental readiness. Intention entrepreneurship measured by questions in Likert scale with interview all thirty lecturers. Using multiple regression analysis in SPSS version 20. This researches indicate that the need for achievement, self-efficacy, and instrumental readiness all have positive effects on the intention to be entrepreneurship among lectures of Vocational Faculty of Economics and Business.
