On average all students both in undergraduate and graduate level were studying independently below the designed hours of 42 hours in one semester with an overall mean of 20.60 hours, 28.47 hours, and 31.36 hours, respectively. The data indicates that undergraduate students spent 50.95% below the designed hour doing independent study. Further, master students and doctoral students spent 32.22% and 25.34% below the designed hour doing self-study, respectively.
