On average all students both in undergraduate and graduate level were studying independently below the designed hours of 42 hours in one semester with an overall mean of 25.62 hours, 26.54 hours, and 25.63 hours, respectively. The data indicates that undergraduate students spent 39.01% below the designed hour doing independent study. Further, master students and doctoral students spent 36.81% and 38.99% below the designed hour doing self-study, respectively.
