Social entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing business field in which business methods and business models are used to help solve social and environmental challenges that are neglected by full-profit oriented businesses and are addressed primarily through a donor-driven model that is often unsustainable by the not-for-profit sector.

Course content

This course provides an overview, describing basic theories, conceptual frameworks, to management and leadership in Social Entrepreneurship-based businesses on a national or global scale. Mastery of Social Entrepreneurship knowledge includes assessment of start-up strategies, raising funds, assessing risks, legal aspects, marketing ideas, and managing resources, development strategies (growth) to designing Social Entrepreneurship business models.
