The increase in people's income can be created through an increase in aggregate production and employment opportunities. The increase in aggregate production and employment opportunities can be achieved by the growth of the company. The growth and development of a company depends on human resources, therefore human resource management is very necessary. This study aims to determine the effect of human resource management which includes selection, training and development, compensation, integration and maintenance on employee performance at PT. Mertex Indonesia Mojokerto, to determine the variables of human resource management that have a dominant influence and to determine whether there are differences in work performance between male and female employees. The population in this study were permanent employees of the operational division, which amounted to 1104 people. The sampling method used a Stratified Random Sampling technique with a total sample of 170 people consisting of 60 female employees and 110 male employees. The research variables consist of human resource management variables which include selection variables (XJ), training and development (X2), compensation (X,), integration (X,), and maintenance (X,) sorts of employee performance (Y). The analytical model used is multiple linear regression and two-mean difference test (oji t). Multiple linear regression was used to determine the effect of human resource management which includes selection, training and development, compensation, integration and maintenance on work performance with a significance level set at (a) 5%, and to determine differences in work performance between male and female employees. women used t test with a significance level of (a) 5%. . The results of the study show that simultaneously the management of human resources which includes selection, training and development, compensation. integration and maintenance have a significant effect on employee performance with the contribution of all variables to the variation in achievement of 47,6%, namely R2 = 0,476. Partially, the dominant variables have an influence on achievement variations, there are all compensation variables. This is indicated by the value of ? the highest is 0,224 with the lowest probability of 0,004. Based on the results of the two-average difference test (t-test) shows that there is a difference between the performance of male and female employees, which is indicated by the tcount value smaller than ttaho!l (-0,758 <1,98).
