Abstract

In order to face increasingly diverse competition, various industrial sectors, especially the agricultural sector, must increase employee creativity which will later lead to various innovations in their products. Organizations need to build a creative environment so that creative work can help achieve a competitive advantage over other organizations (George and Zhou, 2002). This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity with Creative Self-Efficacy (CSE) as a mediation. The next goal is expected that the results of this study can provide consideration for companies in making policies to support the performance of the sales and marketing division at PT. Dupont Indonesia (Corteva). This research was conducted by survey method using questionnaires and interviews and using PLS statistical test tools. In this study, it was found that transformational leadership did not have a significant effect on employee creativity. Furthermore, transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee creativity if mediated by Creative Self-Efficacy (CSE) so that it is a full mediation.
