School of Journalism is an annual work program from LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector. This year, the training that brought in three speakers carried the theme 'Burning with a Pen and Camera'. This event was held in Mindrowo Hall FEB UNAIR on Saturday (8/9). Besides being attended by representatives of FEB UNAIR organizations, this event also invited students from outside FEB and UNAIR. Three speakers, namely Moh. Wahyu as a student representative, Musahada a journalist representative, and Wirasakti Setyawan representing social influencers.

    The event was opened with remarks from the chairman of the event and the head of the LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector, followed by the screening of a teaser video. The purpose of this event is to burn the enthusiasm of the invitees to create a work either through writing or pictures, especially photos. In the material, the first speaker, Moh. Wahyu said about his experience of being rejected by his writings but did not make him despair. This physics major student feels even more excited to write quality writing, because later through writing, humans will be remembered.

    Furthermore, the second material was delivered by Musahada or familiarly called Mbak Uus. He is the editor of Surya Online who has been in the world of journalism for a long time. Being a reporter like him requires expertise and responsibilities related to the code of ethics. The closing material was delivered by Wirasakti Setyawan, who is a social influencers who is also a reliable photographer. The world of lectures for an Wira is not only limited to grades, but also various opportunities for exploration of abilities. In between the presentation of the material, a discussion session was also opened, the participants looked enthusiastic because vouchers were also distributed for those who actively asked questions. The presentation of souvenirs and group photos closed the event. It is hoped that the participants of the School of Journalism will get the knowledge that has been conveyed by the three speakers.
