COMPANY VISIT 2018: SECTOR VISITS JAVA POS

In order to gain knowledge and insight on how the process from journalism to printing in a newspaper company, the Press Institute and Student Publishing Sector Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (LPPM Sector FEB UNAIR) held a Company Visit 2018. Company Visit was held October 15, 2018 and was attended by by 25 participants consisting of LPPM FEB UNAIR SECTOR management. 

In this company visit, the participants visited the Jawa Pos daily company located in Graha Pena, Jalan Jenderal A. Yani No. 88 Ketintang Gayungan, Surabaya, East Java. Before starting the series of events, the participants were gathered at the Graha Pena building, Surabaya. Their arrival was greeted enthusiastically by Denis, the Sportaiment Editor of Jawa Pos. "Here you have the opportunity to explore creativity and gain valuable experience," he said.

During the event, students were shown parts of the editorial office such as Metropolis, Weekend, Sport, and others. Denis also explained that Jawa Pos not only produces newspapers, but also has forums and events that keep Jawa Pos a part of the community. The event continued with a question and answer session. After the question and answer session, the Company Visit participants were invited to take a group photo at the Jawa Pos Office, finally Mas Denis handed over certificate of appreciation to the General Leader of LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector. This last series of events took place regularly and participants were directed to immediately start the journey home.
