CHARITY PKK FEB UNAIR 2020

CHARITY is a work program of the Department of Social Observer for Catholic Spiritual Services FEB UNAIR Period 2020. The purpose of this event is to foster a sense of brotherhood and a real sign of love and concern for others, especially those in need. In addition, this activity also aims to strengthen togetherness and intimacy among Catholic students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This event was held at the Karunia Orphanage and took place on December 5, 2020. It started on Saturday morning and ended on Saturday afternoon. This event was attended by several friends of Catholic Spiritual Service with the theme "Kindness for Happiness".

The arrangement of this event began with the gathering of the committee and participants at Bank Mandiri FEB UNAIR at 09.00. After the committee and participants attended and registered, proceed with a trip to the Karunia Orphanage which is located at Jalan l Wonosari Wetan Baru gg IX no 2A, Bandar, Surabaya 60154. The trip takes 30 minutes. The event started at 10.30 and the opening of the CHARITY event was marked by a prayer together and a welcome speech from the chief executive of CHARITY. After the opening was over, the committee and participants shared stories about life in the orphanage, the difficulties during the COVID-19 and future targets. 

After the sharing session is over, the next event is the giving of donations. Donations are in the form of food and cash. The committee also gave placards as a form of memento and thanks. Then the committee, participants and children were directed to take a group photo. The event ended at 10.45 and closed with a prayer together. Exactly at 10.50, the committee and participants said goodbye and thanked the person in charge of the Karunia Orphanage and then made their way home.
