Ekis Workshop 2019 Universitas Brawijaya

Islamic Economics students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) have successfully passed to become a Call for Paper finalist in the 2019 Ekis Workshop national level competition at Universitas Brawijaya. They are Fatoni Mahendra Kurniawan (2014), Annisa Rahma Febriyanti (2016), Shinta Sunja P (2017), Ibnu Jauzi (2017), and Herlin Rahmayanti (2017). The Delegation of Islamic Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) at least sent 2 delegates to the 2019 Ekis Workshop.

The 2019 Ekis Workshop Competition takes place at Brawijaya University starting from 15-18 September 2019. The 2019 Ekis Workshop Competition consists of delegates from twelve well-known universities, namely Brawijaya University, Semarang State University, Airlangga University, Darusalam Gontor University, Trunojoyo University Madura, Universitas Brawijaya Lampung, University of Indonesia, and Gunadarma University.

The topics in their scientific writings vary. Fatoni Mahendra Kurniawan's team created an innovation, namely Poinku.Id, an online platform based on applications and websites that serves to increase ZISWAF fundraising. Ibnu Jauzi's team discussed Sharia tourism combined with sharia tourism which took advantage of the existence of Islamic boarding schools.

We hope that our writing skills will be able to propagate Islamic Economics. In addition, we hope to actively participate in the development of the Islamic Economy in Indonesia.
