Delegation of "Aspiring Professional Accountants Award"

As a professional association that houses all accountants in Indonesia, the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) has a program to make IAI a professional development center for prospective professional accountants, through increasing the scope of Aspiring Professional Accountants activities. Aspiring Professional Accountant is a term used by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) to define prospective professional accountants who go through a learning and development process, in order to have the competence so that they can carry out their role as a professional accountant. The quality and quantity of Aspiring Professional Accountants becomes the central point to determine the future of the accounting profession in order to create a better profession, contribute to the country and to create a better world. To ensure the professionalism of Indonesian accountants, IAI hopes that accounting students throughout Indonesia can prepare for their future well in the midst of the dynamics of the environment. Since 2017, IAI has held the Aspiring Professional Accountants Festival (APAFest) as an annual event where outstanding students from all over Indonesia gather to showcase their achievements, creativity, and academic ability to compete to be the best and get the opportunity to connect and have the opportunity to work in various leading entities that establish a partnership as a Corporate Partner of IAI. In 2020, for the second time, IAI will conduct a national selection of outstanding accounting students to get the National Aspiring Professional Accountant Award as the top award in APAFest 2020.

IAI invites all universities in Indonesia to carry out a selection or competition at the university level to get 1 (one) best accounting student from each university. Representatives from each university in one province will then follow the selection in stages at the provincial level by IAI. The winners of the highest scores in the provincial selection stage will be finalists to compete nationally for the award as the recipient of the best outstanding accounting student award in Indonesia-National.

Basically, the APA AWARD is an annual competition held by IAI which this year will be held online. The competition is held through zoom meetings and other online media such as youtube. At the selection stage, contestants are asked to submit registration requirements in the form of a CV, transcript of the last semester, scientific papers, summaries of scientific writings in English. Data on achievements/achievements that are favored and proud, as well as videos containing self-profiles and testimonials related to CA through the link provided by the committee.

This video is one of the registration requirements for this competition held by IAI. This video is then uploaded on YouTube and can be watched publicly by the audience.
