The welcome visit is one of the work programs of the external relations department of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. The welcome visit is a place to get to know more about the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. Participants from the welcome visit were divided into two parts, namely high school/K students and students from other universities as well as from within Airlangga University itself. The different categories of participants also lead to differences in the purpose of the welcome visit itself.

When SMA/K students are participants of the welcome visit, the goal is to find out more about lecture activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. The core of the event was the presentation of material from one of the top officials or lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. When presenting this material, students were explained about the various study programs available at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. In addition, students are also presented with various paths and tips to become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

In addition, a question and answer session was opened. Divided into two question and answer sessions, the first is a question for the presenters. Usually questions are asked about academics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. While the second session was a question for members of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. The questions asked are light questions about the feeling of being a student itself. Many students are enthusiastic about this question and answer session because they can dig deeper into academics and lecture activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

 

    Next is a welcome visit with university student participants. Students who come not only come from outside Airlangga University but also students from outside Airlangga University. For example, students of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Airlangga, students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Satya Wacana Christian University, students of the Faculty of Economics, Tridinanti University, Palembang, and so on. The purpose of this welcome visit is more towards a comparative study of the Student Executive Board of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga.

    The purpose of the welcome visit with high school participants is different, so the core of the event is also different. The main event of the welcome visit with student participants is the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). However, before entering the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), the work programs of each university were explained. During the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) each department from the two universities gathered. When this gathering usually begins with a session sharing work programs from each department of the two universities. Then continued with a question and answer session about work programs and activities in general at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga itself. Here the two universities can learn from each other and increase knowledge about how to run a good work program.
