Fun Islamic Economics Study Group

One of the student organization prokers for the Science division is the Sharia Economics Club or often referred to as the SEC. The program aims to create AcSESors who excel and are competitive in the academic field, especially to prepare them to become champions of the Islamic economics olympiad at regional, national, and international levels. SEC is an Islamic economics study group which consists of AcSES members who are students from the majors in accounting, development economics, management, and also Islamic economics itself. The existence of this work program can be a means for Islamic economics students to transfer their knowledge to become useful knowledge for themselves and others.

Sharia Economics Club which was officially or formally held in preparation for the 2018 Regional Scientific Meeting for 12 times (Vulnerable time from 30 December 2017 to 31 January 2018). On 24-27 February 2018 and continued on 11, 12, 14 April 2018 preparations for the 2018 GSENT Olympics. Meanwhile, the other SEC was carried out informally or the competing team did personal training.

Although the SEC is not carried out in a structured manner, there are many Accessors who form their own study groups and exchange ideas and discuss issues regarding Islamic economics. SEC mentors come from AcSES members themselves who have a little more knowledge than the others. However, they themselves can also discuss their own problems in a way sharing and transferring knowledge.

The success of the SEC in 2018 is that AcSES members have won several prestigious Islamic economic olympiad competitions in Indonesia, namely SESO, SEVEN SHELTER, National Islamic Economic Olympiad UIN Walisongo Semarang

Reflecting on the 2018 SEC, it is hoped that this work program can develop and be more well conceptualized. This is because SEC is the most important means for Accessors to strengthen and increase knowledge about Islamic economics in theory.
