Bayu A. Fianto, PhD in 2021 NCHU Sustainability Workshop

(FEB News) Bayu A. Fianto, PhD, is a lecturer at the Department of Sharia Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University, Indonesia and Chair of the SDGs Center at Airlangga University who was present as a Guest Speaker at the 2021 NCHU Sustainability Workshop, on Friday, 20 August 2021 .

The workshop, which is supported by the Higher Education Sprout Project in 2021, National Chung Hsing University - Taiwan, was held by investigating how organizations, both companies and non-profit organizations, can contribute towards a more sustainable society. As we know, over the last decade it has become clear that only governments cannot achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Furthermore, students will understand the purpose and rationale behind the goal of the concept of “sustainable”, so that students will gain a broad understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). At the end of the session, students are given the opportunity to develop a sustainable business plan that upholds the goals of the SDGs.
