DJKN GOES TO CAMPUS

(FEB NEWS) Thursday, June 10, 2021, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held the DJKN Goes To Campus event, in a hybrid manner with the theme “The Role and Function of Auctions in the National Economy”, a collaboration between Universitas Airlangga (in this case is the FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS OF AIRLANGGA UNIVERSITY as HOST and the FACULTY OF LAW OF AIRLANGGA UNIVERSITY (FH UNAIR)) with the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) – Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.

Present at the event, the Tasks of Agus Priyo Waluyo – Head of the East Java Regional Office of DJKN and his staff, Coordinator of the Master of Law Study Program - Dr. Indira Retno Atyantie, SH., MH as well as several invited guests as well as student students from the Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral Programs from FEB UNAIR and FH UNAIR and were warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga – Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA.

Tasks Agus Priyo Waluyo – Head of the East Java Regional Office of DJKN in his Opening Speech said thank you for accepting DJKN Goes To Campus and introduced that DJKN is one of the echelon 1 units within the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, DJKN in carrying out its duties carries out tasks in the field of State Asset Management, Auction Services, Assessment Services and Management of State Receivables.

In terms of auction services, for now DJKN has fully implemented it online, namely through the Indonesian Auction portal with the address auction.go.id. In the past, the implementation of auction services was still carried out conventionally, namely there was a physical face-to-face carried out directly, but now, starting from the auction application until the auction is completed, it is done entirely online through the Indonesian Auction portal. 

Agus Priyo Waluyo's task is to state that with the digital transformation of DJKN, many frauds have been encountered, thus calling for information, persuasion, and solicitation of auctions at prices that are lower than the market, to participate in auctions and deposit auction guarantees, so that they check first through the Indonesian Auction portal, as long as it is not informed on the Indonesian portal then, that's a lie, that's wrong. Agus Priyo Waluyo's job was to admit that he was surprised because the victims of fraud were also people who were lacking in education (starting from bachelors to business people). For this reason, Agus Priyo Waluyo's task is to urge not to be swayed by the persuasion, and always check first through the Indonesian Auction Portal.

Furthermore, Agus Priyo Waluyo's task explained that, the Covid 19 outbreak greatly disrupted the Indonesian economy, and greatly affected Indonesian SMEs, therefore the Indonesian Ministry of Finance mandated all its echelon 1 units, one of which was DJKN, to actively participate in recovery of the National Economy. 

DJKN's participation includes conducting auctions of SME products, providing many discounts for debt repayment (50% - 60%) depending on the dates of debt repayment in 2021. This activity is intended as a form of synergy in the existence of DJKN in Java. East Java, so that the hope is that SMEs, debtors in the East Java Region, can immediately pay off their debts, revive their economy, and in the end DJKN can coordinate with Regional Governments whose communities are very advanced. At the end of the speech, Agus Priyo Waluyo's Tasks hoped that DJKN Goes To Campus could be put to good use, and could broaden the horizons of the students and all those present and ultimately contribute to the country.

The event that was held not only provided material on the Role and Function of Auctions in the National Economy by the Head of the Auction Division. East Java Regional Office of DJKN - Mr. Ahid Iwanudin, but also Auction Simulation, which certainly adds to the excitement of the DJKN Goes To Campus event.
