Visit of SMAN 3 Palembang

Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Soepoyo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair), for the umpteenth time received a campus visit from a high school. This time the group came from SMAN 3 Palembang. Even though in the midst of the spread of the corona virus issue, the spirit of Dra. Hj. Purwiastuti Kusumastiwi, MM – Principal of SMAN 3 Palembang and their entourage (8 teachers and 84 students from class X and class XI), in providing an overview of universities, especially FEB Unair, was extraordinary.

Purwiastuti said in her speech that “this is the first time we have held an educational tour, this is the first time. Because our students still get very little information about universities, especially Airlangga University, the hope is that after they get information / get supplies from here, they will be motivated to choose one of the majors in FEB Unair / Unair " .

The same spirit is also shown by M. Khoerul Mubin, SE., MSc. - Staff. Deputy Dean I FEB Unair, also Sa'ad – Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FEB Unair for the 2020 period in his remarks. This time, FEB Unair provided 3 materials at once, namely material on PPMB Unair brought by Dr. M. Anam Al Arif, drh., MP - Coordinator of Registration, Implementation of Exams & Processing of PPMB Unair Results; material about FEB Unair was presented by Dr. Wiwiek Dianawati, MSi., Ak - Secretary of the Accounting Department FEB Unair; and material on the International Undergraduate Program FEB Unair presented by Devi Sulistyo Kalanjati, SE., M.Acc., M.Sc., Ak. - Deputy Coordinator of the IUP FEB Unair Program.

To add to the excitement of the event, at the end of the session, BEM FEB Unair brothers gave 4 interesting quizzes for SMAN 3 Palembang students. Where for students who can answer questions, (1 question each from PPMB Unair; FEB Unair; IUP; and the last, of course, a question from the Head of BEM Sa'ad) properly and correctly, will get a gift in the form of beautiful souvenirs. Suddenly all the students were excited and competing with each other to be able to answer each of these questions properly and correctly.

Hopefully the spirit of today, can continue with the spirit of the following days and
