Learning outcomes of the course unit

After taking this course students are able to:

  1. Explain the basic concepts and application of the Theory of Business Economics and Competition.
  2. Explain the phenomenon of Business Economics and Competition, and be able to explain the relationship between variables in the Business Competition.
  3. Evaluate the characteristics of the market structure, the causes of the formation of a market structure, and how the impact of the market structure on the behavior of producers

Course content

This course focuses on study the meaning and scope of the economy on inter-firm competition, market structure and its implications for producer behavior and economic performance, especially to increasing efficiency and public welfare. This course also discusses various business economics and competition  policies.
