Expecting Thank You?

Suaramuslim.net – Dile Carnigie tells that a prominent businessman gives bonuses to his employees. Each person gets US $ 10.000. But as it turned out, no one thanked him. For a whole year, the businessman was hurt and regretted the money he had spent, even though the people who hurt him did not realize it. He had drunk poison for himself.

If only he knew that through the hands of Isa Al Masih, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala healed dozens of crippled people, but not a word of thanks from them. Is he Jesus? 'Peace be upon him stop treating people?

If only he knew that the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has treated various diseases, prayed for goodness, has brought light from the dark darkness of life, brought heaven closer to us. Did he saw? ask someone in return? Has he ever asked for wealth, even if it was just a headband for his sake? In fact, some of them turned away, denied, denied, even berated, hurt, and tried to kill him. Did he saw? give up and stop doing it?

If only we could understand that something that happens is because and with the permission of His power, including the 'goods' we do and the 'evil' they do. If we are able to understand that the 'good' that we do is only to draw closer to Him, then the word 'thank you' is not important for us. If we can also understand that their 'evil' is a test of our sincerity, then the most important thing is a 'smile' from Him.

May we be among His sincere servants. Amen.
