Unair's Ranking in Russia's Ranking System MOSIUR 2021
Jakarta, UI, UGM, ITB, and Unair are again competing in the international university ranking system. This time the list is issued by Moscow International University Ranking 'The Three University Missions' (MOSIUR) 2021.
Quoted from its website, Indonesia is represented by the seven best universities in the country. Besides UI, UGM, ITB, and Unair, there are Unpad, IPB, and ITS that compete with other world's best campuses.
MOSIUR 2021's list of the best universities in Indonesia
Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is ranked 601-650
Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) is ranked 701-800
University of Indonesia (UI) ranked 701-800
Universitas Airlangga (Unair) is ranked 1301-1400
Padjadjaran University (Unpad) is ranked 1401-1500
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is ranked 1501-1650
Ten November Institute of Technology (ITS) is ranked 1501-1650.
MOSIUR 2021 explains, all campuses that are ranked in groups with a hyphen (-) are sorted alphabetically.
Responding to this news, the Head of the Planning and Development Agency (BPP) Unair Dian Ekowati said the campus never stopped growing. Performance improvement efforts are always applied in every aspect.
For Unair, this is the second time that the university has become one of the best in MOSIUR 2021.
"In the future we will try to focus on the advantages that we already have while continuing to improve other aspects, as well as synergize with various other universities," said Dian as quoted from the Unair website.
MOSIUR 2021 explained that there were two thousand higher education institutions representing 119 countries and regions participating in the ranking. Universities on this list have generally been selected in the previous year.
The number of state representative institutions is determined by the state's contribution to the world economy. The stronger the country's economy in the global order, the more institutions that can represent in MOSIUR 2021.
