Today's rapid technological advancements have led to a lifestyle increasingly intertwined with technology. This has also given rise to a new technological era, namely digital technology, often referred to as the era of disruption. This development will undoubtedly impact all areas of life, including accounting. For example, there is now a wealth of software that can perform various accounting activities, such as financial bookkeeping and other tasks. This development will have various impacts, both positive and negative. One negative impact that could arise is the diminishing role of accountants in the accounting field, and there are concerns that their role will be replaced by technology. Therefore, intellectual and professional skills are required to navigate this era.

Therefore, the Faculty of Economics Student Association of Multimedia Nusantara University held the ATIC 5 (Accounting Ultimate Challenge) event. ATIC 5 is a university-level accounting competition held to test the skills and abilities of accounting students and create healthy competition. The things tested include the conceptual and technical accounting abilities of the competition participants, as well as testing the participants' knowledge of various economic issues developing this year. The target of the ATIC 5 activity is all student representatives from every university throughout Indonesia. It is hoped that this activity will produce resources who are ready to face problems in the field of accounting in the future.
